Apprenticeship is a real springboard for youth employment. Statistically, the youth unemployment rate is lower in countries with high numbers of apprentices.
To increase the attractiveness of Apprenticeship, it is essential to make Apprenticeship more qualitative and effective. However, faced with the changes driven especially by the new technologies, it is now essential to innovate and favor new forms of learning, or new modes of teaching. It is a pedagogical transformation that must take place.
In this necessary modernization, teachers and trainers are essential actors, their professional development deserves special attention.
Thus, the FORTRAINERS project is part of a dual approach:
the pedagogical innovation rooted in the digital area
and the professional development of teachers-trainers on these new approaches.
For this, its main objective is to design and develop an online training – like a SPOC, intended for the trainers, on the appropriation of new innovative and exemplary pedagogical practices .
